In the castle restaurant for 60 guests, our chef prepares delicious meals to match our top-rated estate wines in full. The cuisine is international, the raw materials and the tastes are mainly Hungarian, but to achieve a full joy in gastronomy, the chef is always bold enough to find the perfect base material and spices overboard. The menu is constantly revised and during wine dinners we always make sure that the meals are adjusted to match our wines served.

I'm Csaba Latorcai, chef of the Gróf Degenfeld Wine Estate and Castle Hotel★★★★ Superior.

I have been working in the hospitality industry for more than a decade. I learned the profession in nationally renowned restaurants in Miskolc.

I would describe my cuisine as a mixture of classic Hungarian and French bistro cuisine. I have created a menu of dishes that are easy to understand, with the simplicity typical of bistro cuisine in mind. It combines ingredients from local small-scale producers, locally grown, home-made, and ingredients typical of various international cuisines.

My team and I are working to ensure that the cuisine lives up to the internationally renowned reputation of the Gróf Degenfeld Wine Estate and Castle Hotel★★★★ Superior.
