The chateau-style estate – a dream made come true by the Count Degenfeld Family - being so unique in the Tokaji wine region has started as a fruitful combination of the castle, the vineyards and the cellar.
The four-star air-conditioned Gróf Degenfeld Castle Hotel is located in the middle of the Theresa Park in picturesque surroundings in the shadows of big old trees, offering 20 double rooms and a suite for guests coming to relax. The cosy and elegant armchairs, antique furniture, old paintings and Venetian chandeliers all bring back the 19th century milieu. Our wines tasted during cellar visits and tours can be purchased at the reception desk.

SUITE
The spacious residential suite of the hotel with a large balcony and superb panoramic view over the Castle Park is an ideal choice for specialty lovers and also for guests with bigger families.

Our superior rooms with high ceilings and burgundy upholstery are located in the first floor. They are all furnished with decorative Empire style furniture. Extra beds can be provided in some of the rooms with a bath and overlooking the park.

CLASSIC ROOM
Our classic rooms with a bath and overlooking the park are dominated by the green colour, equipped with Empire style furniture. Extra beds can be provided in some rooms upon request.

Wine tasting
During the estate visit and cellar tour, visitors can have an insight into the everyday life of the top-rated Gróf Degenfeld Estate in the Tokaj wine region and will have the chance to taste four, five or 6 different wines.
Transfer
A minibus for 8 is available for all our guests offering drives to the wine cellars in the Tokaji region and allowing you to discover the landmarks and places of interests nearby.
Massages
A wide range of massages (aromatherapy, foot, face and decollate, special crème massages) are available for our guests offered by our certified masseurs. Please ask for an appointment at the reception desk.
Outdoor Swimming Pool
The outdoor pool with stretched water surface in the castle park - operated seasonally - offers great fun for both adults and children. The comfort of our guests is enhanced by the drink bar and sun terrace.
Sauna
Just in a short walking distance from the main building of the castle in a tranquil environment you can find our Finnish sauna with light therapy in our pool house for a full physical and spiritual renewal.
Tennis
Under the shady trees our tennis courts with night lights and a tartan cover offer an ideal place for international tennis tournaments and provide and ideal recreation for all our guests with love for sports and who lead an active life.
Pétanque
Guests can try the popular ball game in our castle park – usually played by young winemakers during their training sessions in France. A set of balls are available upon request from the reception desk.

Wedding Ceremony
Our estate offers a perfect venue for shooting impressive engagement photos, organizing civil and church ceremonies for weddings, dinners and banquets for smaller and larger parties up to 100 persons. Please e-mail us for further details
Conference Events
Our air-conditioned conference room for up to 25 persons with all technical equipment provided – such as flipchart, projector, projection screen - is available for exclusive business meetings, smaller conferences, management consultations and other professional trainings.
Team-building
A whole wide range of team building games (e.g. laser battle, bubble soccer, extreme archery, extreme target shooting, etc.) is available for our guests. Upon special request, a unique set of game packages can be put together.
