The Sweetness of Success in the Top-100 List of Népszabadság
18. November 2009.Our sweet wines have yielded victory at the wine-tasting event organised by Hungarian daily Népszabadság. Two wines from the Gróf Degenfeld Winery cellars have entered the list of the 10 best sweet wines.
The newspaper awarded the Gróf Degenfeld Winery third place among the best sweet wine producers. The wine tasters were enchanted by our 2003 vintage 6 puttonyos Tokaji Aszú wine, which gave rise to the unanimous voice “a gentle honey-like, flavoursome aszú wine with a lingering flavour. A beautiful item.”
That is not all, as the Gróf Degenfeld Andante from year 2007 obtained an honourable 5th place in the sweet wine category. “The beekeeper’s rendezvous with the lady viticulturalist” wrote Pál Závada.
The Népszabadság newspaper prepared a high-quality magazine to publish opinions on these mentioned wines, and an article on the Gróf Degenfeld Winery.
