Theresa Day in the Gróf Degenfeld Winery

We invite all those interested in Tokaj wine, grape production and wine making for a whole day of interesting events at the Winery on 24th October 2009 (between 10am and 5pm).

In arranging the programme we have made an effort to ensure that all members of the family will find something to amuse them so they can spend a happy day at this pearl of the Tokaj Wine Region, the afore-mentioned Gróf Degenfeld Winery.
A little taster:
- cellar visit and wine tasting with our wine-maker Ákos Keresztes,
- blind tasting, wine lottery, visit to the vines in the Theresa Vineyard
- harvest and pressing, must tasting
- master craftsman presentation – follow the work of cooper Attila Hotyek and see the making of a barrel from start to finish
- from 12pm the Erdőbénye masters will perform their Kádár (barrel) dance
- the fun atmosphere of the event will be ensured by the medieval troupe performers, Kuckó Művésztanya of Debrecen – along with the excellent wines
- at 2pm you can watch their performance of the Matyi Ludas folk tale
